One of the Classic Malt Distilleries located on the banks of the river Spey close to Ballindaloch Castle. Tours are available but limited and only on appointment from august to September.

The World’s most awarded single malt Scotch whisky and one of the last remaining family distilleries.
Castleton Of Blairfindy, Glenlivet AB37 9DB
Glenlivet distillery is gorgeously situated in a lovely Speyside Valley. Established in 1824 by George Smith. Opening times April to November monday to friday 09.30 to 16.00 hours.
The Macallan Distillery
Macallan Distillery, Easter Elchies, Charlestown of Aberlour AB38 9RX
Easter Elchies House, spiritual home of The Macallan. Opening Times: Easter – Oct, Mon to Sat, 9.30am till 5pm November – Easter, Mon to Fri, 9.30am till 5pm (Last guided tour 3.30pm.).
Since 1897 Glen Moray Distillery has been producing Glen Moray in Elgin. The distillery has a classic farmhouse layout with a courthouse in the centre. Tours are far more informal here and start from just £5.
Port Ellen, Isle of Islay PA42 7EA
For over 200 years, Ardbeg has been made on the small, remote Scottish Isle of Islay. You can get to Ardbeg in your campervan from Port Ellen.
Bowmore Distillery, School Street, Bowmore PA43 7JS
Bowmore was the first of Islay’s distilleries to receive a licence, springing fully-formed into official existence in 1779. It is situated on the shores of Loch Indaal, right in the middle of the pretty town of Bowmore.
Distillery Cottages, Lagavulin, Isle of Islay PA42 7DZ
The distillery of Lagavulin on Islay officially dates from 1816, though records show illegal distillation on the site as far back as 1742. The distillery is located in a small bay near the south coast of Islay near the ruins of Dunyveg Castle.
Port Ellen, Isle of Islay PA42 7DU
Laphroaig Single Malt peated Whisky from Islay. It Is dubbed the “ most richly flavoured scotch whisky in the World”. This strong whiskey is located beautifully situated in the south of Islay
Muir of Ord IV6 7UJ
It is the only remaining single malt scotch whisky distillery on the Black Isle. Its principal product is an eponymous 12-year-old single malt whisky.
Dalwhinnie PH19 1AA
Located in the Highland village of Dalwhinnie in Scotland, it produces Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Renowned for its gentle flavours accentuated with notes of heather honey, citrus, vanilla and sweet malt.
A9, Tain IV19 1PZ
Located in Tain, Ross-shire, Scotland, that produces single malt Scotch whisky. The distillery main product is the range of Glenmorangie single malt whiskies.
Stafford St, Oban PA34 5NH
Oban Distillery is both one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland and one of the smallest with just two pot stills. It is nestled beneath the steep cliff that overlooks Oban.
